Descriptive Summary
The Role
We are seeking a Senior Director of Omnichannel Marketing to architect (New) and execute (Existing) Accord digital ecosystem for our growing product (biosimilar) portfolio. This is not just a strategy role; we need a “player-coach” who can define the vision, be hands-on with the tactics and also be technical enough to get under the hood of our CRM and automation platforms to ensure we minimize technical debt and drive efficiencies.
You will replace a pivotal role in our organization, taking ownership of the strategy for both upcoming product launches and existing in-market brands. You will serve as the bridge between Brand Marketing, Sales, and IT, ensuring our data-first approach translates into actionable engagement with Healthcare Providers (HCPs), GPOs, Payers and patients.
Essential Job Functions:
Reasonable accommodations will be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership & Data-First Execution
- Omnichannel Strategy: Develop and lead the end-to-end omnichannel roadmap for biosimilar launches and in-line brands. Move beyond simple “multi-channel” tactics to create a cohesive, synchronized customer journey across email, web, remote engagement, and face-to-face field interactions.
- Omni-first Media Plan execution: Work with Marketing Therapeutic Franchise leads and the media agency of record to implement end to end media plans that actually make material impact on the business.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Champion a “Data First” culture. Define KPIs and build scorecards that measure real behavioral impact (e.g., script lift, engagement scores) rather than just vanity metrics (e.g., open rates). Use this data to continuously optimize campaigns in real-time.
- Buy-and-Bill Market Nuance: Apply specific knowledge of the Buy-and-Bill and specialty pharmacy environments to our digital strategy, ensuring our channels support the complex reimbursement and procurement journey unique to biosimilars.
- Hands-On Marketing Technology (MarTech) Management
- Platform Ownership: Serve as the primary business owner for our MarTech stack. You must be comfortable working directly inside platforms, not just managing vendors who do it.
- Veeva CRM: Oversee the configuration of Veeva Suggestions, Approved Email, and CLM presentations to ensure they are usable and helpful for the field team.
- Microsoft Dynamics 365: Manage the marketing automation engine, including customer segmentation, journey orchestration, and trigger-based email workflows.
- EHR Systems: Ensure launch brands are discoverable and accurately represented within EHR platforms (Epic, Cerner, etc.) at hospital and practice levels.
- Accord Connects: Accord’s Integrated IMS platform that is integrated to a hybrid-hub.
- Tech-Stack Optimization: Identify gaps in our current infrastructure (e.g., data flow between D365 and Veeva) and work with Data and Analytics and IT infrastructure to fix them.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration & Leadership
- Franchise Partnering: Act as a strategic partner to Marketing Franchise Leads. Translate their brand imperatives into digital reality. (e.g., “How do we digitize this new mechanism-of-action visual?”)
- Sales Alignment: Work closely with Sales Leadership to ensure omnichannel efforts “pull through” to the field. Gather feedback from reps to ensure digital tools reduce friction, not add to it.
- Vendor Management: Manage external digital agencies and tech vendors, ensuring SOWs are met, budgets are adhered to, and deliverables (assets, coding, integrations) are high-quality and on time.
- Other duties as assigned.
The above responsibilities represent the major tasks assigned to incumbents in this job. They are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all tasks.
