Reports to: Operations Director, Supply Chain

FLSA: Temporary, Non-Exempt 

Role: Non-Manager

Descriptive Summary: The role supports the supply chain and customer services functions from demand and supply planning to logistics and customer services. The person will liaise with the commercial teams, coordinating queries into the team and promptly providing them with accurate information on product status (stock levels, next deliveries, supply delays and issues), and proactively providing updates as they occur. The Associate is responsible for data analysis and reports needed to run the day-to-day business and provide timely and relevant information to enable effective decision making.   This is a part-time, temporary position the duration of which will be determined with the ideal candidate.

Supply Chain Intern Responsibilities:

  • Create supply chain related reports on both a repeating and one-time basis, such as the daily operations report and tracking of bid requests from Sales
  • Support the teams in new product system set up and other data management activities
  • Advise other departments on deliveries of back ordered products, and providing advance shortages notifications to the Regulatory Affairs team
  • Developing processes and standardized work to manage activities such as risk management, customer bids and one-time-buy requests, charge backs, new product system set up and inventory/supply status reports
  • Provide other ad hoc support as required by the team. The individual will also proactively propose improvements to increase the team’s efficiency and responsiveness to internal and external customers

Education, Experience and Skills:

  • No prior experience is required
  • This role is also suitable for a college-level internship
  • MS Office, proficiency in Excel; proven ability to manipulate and analyze data and provide charts and graphs
  • Previous experience of data management and analysis and developing standard reports is desired
