Headquartered near Research Triangle in Durham, North Carolina, Accord Healthcare is the US subsidiary of Intas Pharmaceuticals with US annual sales of $668M*. Accord Healthcare’s US leadership team oversees development, clinical research, manufacturing, regulatory, and commercial activities related to its products.
Jeff Hampton was appointed as the president of Accord Healthcare in 2020. He is responsible for accelerating growth and establishing Accord as a leading player in the US Generic market.
Prior to joining Accord Healthcare, Jeff was Senior Vice President and General Manager US and LATAM for Apotex Inc. Jeff served in several leadership roles throughout his career, including as Senior Vice President, Commercial Operations, at Osmotica Pharmaceutical Corp.; Vice President, General Manager at Dabur Pharma US; and Vice President, Sales and Marketing Health Systems, at IVAX Pharmaceuticals, Teva.
Jeff earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from the University of Florida.
Jim Brown Joined Accord Healthcare as Vice President of Sales for Accord Healthcare in 2021. He has deep experience in pharmaceutical sales, having held several leadership positions within the industry.
He came to Accord Healthcare from Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Inc., where he was Vice President of Sales for several years. Prior to Glenmark, Jim was Vice President, Sales and Marketing for Macleods Pharma, USA, Inc., Senior Director of Sales at Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Inc., Associate Director of Sales at Dr. Reddy’s NZ Ltd., National Account Manager for Alpharma, and National Account Manager for Morton Grove Pharmaceuticals.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Alma College and an MBA from the University of Colorado Denver.
VP, Supply Chain and Demand Planning
Kirsten Burgess was appointed Vice President of Supply Chain and Customer Services for Accord Healthcare in 2020. She is responsible for defining the supply chain strategy and developing robust operational processes and systems for Accord Healthcare’s growth plans.
Prior to her role at Accord Healthcare, Kirsten was Vice President of US Supply Chain for Alvogen, based in Malta. Kirsten started her career at GSK where she gained experience spanning all facets of the Supply Chain, including leadership roles in Supply Chain Strategy, Logistics, External Supply and Procurement. She has Manufacturing experience of all pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical dose forms.
Kirsten earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Biochemical Engineering from University College London and an MBA from Henley Business School in the UK.
VP, Institutional Sales and Marketing
Kevin Congdon is Vice President of Institutional Sales and Marketing for Accord Healthcare, where he is focused on strengthening customer relationships and helping to grow the organization in the generic pharmaceutical space.
Before joining Accord Healthcare, Kevin was Senior Director of Institutional Sales for Somerset Pharma, LLC. Prior to Somerset, Kevin served several years at Mylan, where he held several leadership roles, including Director of National Accounts. Previous positions included roles at Pfizer Injectables and Boehringer Ingelheim.
Kevin earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Ithaca College.
VP, General Counsel
Emily King was appointed Vice President, General Counsel for Accord Healthcare in 2017. She is focused on a cross-functional approach to assessing the risks and rewards in the competitive international pharmaceutical marketplace. She is responsible for all contract negotiation, acts as a strategic leader in the M&A team, manages litigation, and oversees employment matters, as well as working as a collaborative partner to business unit leaders.
Prior to joining Accord Healthcare, Emily served as an attorney with Hutchison PLLC for ten years, where she provided business and intellectual property counsel to established and emerging companies.
Emily earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics, Public Policy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of North Carolina School of Law.
VP, Regulatory Affairs
Sabita Nair was appointed Vice President, Regulatory Affairs for Accord Healthcare in 2019.
Prior to this role, she served for more than 14 years in leadership roles with Intas Pharmaceuticals, including as Senior Director, Regulatory Affairs. Among Sabita’s responsibilities were submissions of ANDAs, 505 (b)(2)NDAs and Bio-INDs, as well as maintaining regulatory life cycles for dozens of products. Previous roles include as Senior Group Leader, Regulatory Affairs at Astron Research Limited, where she specialized in regulatory affairs for the USA, Canada, Europe, SouthEast Asia, Africa and Latin America.
Sabita earned her Masters in Pharmacy, Quality Assurance from CU Shah College of Pharmacy.
Ranish Singhvi joined Accord HealthCare in 2019 as Vice President, Finance. Ranish has over 20 years of experience in finance, accounting and taxation. This includes 15 years in Generic pharmaceutical industry. He is currently responsible for accounting operations, financial planning and analysis, budgeting and forecasting, internal controls, taxation, and revenue management including contracts and pricing along with IT for Accord.
Prior to this position Ranish was based at the Corporate Office in India for Intas Pharmaceuticals. He has an geographical experience of US, Dubai and India where he worked for global conglomerate companies including Torrent Pharmaceuticals and Johnson & Johnson (erstwhile Hitachi), Al Maya Lal’s. Ranish spent the early part of his career in public accounting where he earned his certification as a Chartered Accountant from ICAI.
He also completed an MBA degree and specialized certification on International Taxation from ICAI.
VP, Marketing and Portfolio
Divya Verma is Vice President, Marketing and Portfolio for Accord Healthcare, where she is responsible for the launch and management of Accord Healthcare’s growing portfolio of generic and branded generics, in the US market.
Prior to joining Accord Healthcare, Divya served as Director, Portfolio & Launch Management for American Regent, Inc., where she defined, led and executed on Portfolio Strategies, Revenue and Pipeline Management for their human injectables business. Divya was previously the Director of Portfolio and Marketing at Fosun Pharma USA where she oversaw Product Identification, Pipeline Management and Marketing. She has also held leadership roles at CutisPharma, Inc. and SUN PHARMA.
Divya holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Rutgers Business School and an MBA in Marketing and Finance from IE Business School, Spain.
